Phono - Phono (RCA jack) cable

Our Phono to Phono cable is a FULLY SCREENED cable (not a twisted pair) and is therefore much better at stopping unwanted noise from getting into the signal conductor within the cable. It is the recommended cable to use between our CDP102 MC adaptor and the MM phono input on your amplifier.

The cables consist of an inner conductor of 37 silver plated oxygen free copper strands surrounded by a foam polyethylene insulator. The outer 100% coverage screen has a layer of semiconducting plastic (for low mechanical noise) with a fully woven outer screen of silver plated oxygen free copper stands. The cable outer covering is a clear polyethylene coating.

The connectors are Neutrik / Rean all metal machined gold plated phono plugs with substantial grounding "fingers" to ensure a good quality earth connection.

This is a very flexible but robust audio cable with a sound that is highly musical and pleasing on the ear. It is particularly suited for longer cable runs where the risks of signal loss are greater.

Because this cable is a precision made true coaxial (rather then twisted pair) cable, it can also be used for digital signals, especially longer lengths as the digital signal loss is very small.

Standard lengths are:

0.5 metre / 1 metre / 1.5 metres / 2 metres
